No. Time Tracker works with no account and no sign-up. Your data syncs privately through your own Apple iCloud — there’s no server of ours in the middle.

On your device and in your own private iCloud (CloudKit). There is no server of ours holding your records.

No. Your data lives in your personal iCloud, which we can’t read. There are no analytics or advertising SDKs, and nothing is ever sold or shared.

The app still works and keeps everything on your device, but it won’t sync to your other devices until you sign into iCloud with iCloud Drive turned on.

In Settings, the “Danger Zone” erases every record with a deliberate, double-confirmed action, and the deletion propagates through your iCloud to all your devices as true removals. Removing the app and its iCloud data also clears it.

No. That message means an iCloud import is still arriving. It’s telling you your data is on the way rather than showing a blank screen; it clears once the first sync finishes.

These need “Always” location access with Precise Location on. Check iOS Settings → Privacy → Location Services → Time Tracker.

Make sure notifications and Live Activities are allowed for Time Tracker in iOS Settings, and that Focus modes aren’t hiding them. Relaunching the app re-establishes an active timer’s Live Activity.

Yes — arrival detection, trip logging, and the running Live Activity all keep working with the app backgrounded and the screen locked.

Reinstall it from the Watch app on your iPhone (My Watch → Time Tracker), and make sure the watch has free storage. If it stalls, restart the watch and try again.
